Advancing Innovation in Gameplay

Advancing Gameplay with User-Centered Design

The Games Research and UX (GRUX) program is a consortium-style initiative that brings together the Saudi Digital Academy (SDA) and universities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to advance games research and user experience (UX) practice. By fostering collaboration between academia, industry, and emerging talent, the program strengthens research capacity and applied expertise within the national gaming sector. It also supports the development of locally grounded, globally competitive games by cultivating evidence-based design practices and a sustainable, research-driven ecosystem for game development in Saudi Arabia.
